Doll's House Dreams

The year before last I spent the days running up to Christmas remodelling an Ikea kitchen for Clemmie so that it looked just like ours. Obviously, I had left it to the last minute. We were hosting, I nearly passed out with the spray paint fumes. You know the usual Christmas Eve scenario. But, my hard labour was worth it; I’m most proud of the faux marble effect sticky back plastic work surface.  She has played with it endlessly, and given that the whole thing is painted in ‘Purbeck Stone’ , it blends in rather nicely with its surroundings. LOL.

Clearly I’ve found my next project. I mean – hello!

I had a momentary panic that said doll’s house bookcase was only available to buy in Sweden, but a good old internet search session came up with the goods.

Be quick. There are only four available and I’m having one of them. Fill it with Maileg bunnies and all their obligatory paraphernalia. Oh, and if you speak nicely to Lisa of Edit 58, I’m fairly sure she’ll make you some miniature rugs and cushions!
