Affordable art for all

London’s art fair of all art fairs is about to begin this week and I am looking forward to wandering about Frieze seeing what the world’s best established and up-and-coming artists are up to. Though I squeeze into the massive white tent in Regent’s Park as an eager eyed art lover and never as a buyer. I simply don’t have room for any more masters in the hallway you know 😉 However, Partnership Editions are an initiative looking to fire up the collector in me (and you too!).

To coincide with the fair, the platform is launching 80 affordable artworks by London’s emerging talents. Founded by Georgia Spray in 2017, the idea is to let budding collectors get involved in the art scene without needing an inheritance. Prices range from £150 to £750 for exclusive works.

If, like me, you love one-of-a-kind art for your home then this is your moment. It’s a wonderful investment you can take pleasure in everyday whilst knowing it can only go up in value. Below are a few pieces currently on my personal wish list.

Above image – ‘Nymphaii II by Julianna Byrne, £450

‘Hypnagogia XII’ by Venetia Berry, £290

‘Coral XXIII’ by Julianna Byrne, £150

‘The Orange Bird’ by Isabella Cotier, £275

‘Belladonna’ by Fee Greening, £300

‘Big Blue on Side’ by Alexa Coe, £550
